From quaint, historic sites to vineyard views, here are some great venues to tie the knot at:

Rockledge Mansion
Located in the picturesque town of Historic Occoquan, the Rockledge Mansion was built in 1758, making it one of the oldest wedding venues in the area! The venue is located within two acres in the center of the town, giving your wedding an intimate setting. The space can hold 150 guests (120 if seated) in their crystal ballroom, which features a domed ceiling, rich maple wood floors, and antiquities adorning the walls. Their cozy brick patio makes for a charming outdoor event venue. Right off of I-95, the Rockledge Mansion will be convenient for guests as well.

Rippon Lodge Historic Site
With beautiful views of the Neabsco Creek, consider the rustic Rippon Lodge for a wedding with a waterfront view! The 43-acre historic site was founded in 1747 and has become a historic landmark in Woodbridge. The outdoor venue features a gorgeous wrap around porch, which makes the colonial house a perfect backdrop for any wedding. The sprawling green yards can host a tent for up to 150-200 people, and can have either the river or the building as the background.

Old Manassas Courthouse
This 1892 Courthouse is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Manassas. For weddings events, the upstairs ball room can accommodate 100 guests, making for a historic and private setting.

Union Church at Brentsville Historic Centre
Built in the 1870’s, Union Church is an intimate venue for those seeking a smaller space for their wedding. It’s open year-round, and can accommodate 90 people inside the church. If you’re looking to include more guests, the grounds are available for rent, and tent space is behind the school house.

The Winery at La Grange
The oldest established winery in Prince William County, this 18th century manor features many settings for your wedding. Benoni’s Lounge is a converted dry cellar, with brick walls, cozy lighting, and rich wooden tables. The lounge can seat 30 people, and is a perfect spot for a bridal shower. The Back Lawn is located between the manor and the wine production room and offers views of both the estate and vineyards. It’s also large enough to accommodate a large tent for rehearsals and receptions. For a beautiful view of the property, the Top Lawn can be used for tented events where you’ll want the acres of vineyards as the background.  The Winery at La Grange is also is also famous for its Red and White wines as well – a perfect touch for the wedding festivities!

Merchant Park at Weems-Botts Museum
For a cozy, rustic wedding, the Weems-Botts Museum offers the perfect outdoor venue for couples looking for an affordable place to say “I do”.  Merchant Park has grassy shaded areas that make for memorable wedding photos and a large central gazebo ideal for hosting the ceremony. For the reception, the park has a covered pavilion that can hold 100+.
