150th Anniversary Battle of First Manassas/Bull Run Commemoration receives three awards

At an Awards Ceremony held at IFEA’s 56th Annual Convention & Expo in Fort Worth, Texas on October 3, 2011, the 150th Anniversary Battle of First Manassas/Bull Run Commemoration received two Gold and one Bronze awards. Mark Kowalewski, Sales & Marketing Director for Discover Prince William & Manassas, VA accepted awards in the following categories:

“The awards are indicative of the commitment the Prince William County and Manassas community has to producing high quality experiences for its visitors. Guests can come any time of year and be wowed by the rich and diverse attractions, museums and history all within 30 miles of Washington, D.C. And, with the 150th Anniversary of the American Civil War lasting through 2015, visitors can continue to attend anniversary events that recognize and commemorate our past where it all began.” said Discover Prince William & Manassas Executive Director, Ann Marie Maher
